Ezekiel Machogu, Cabinet Secretary for Education, has launched the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal for KCSE 2022 candidates.
CS Machogu, speaking at the University of Nairobi (UoN) launch on Wednesday, stated that all 869,782 candidates would be allowed to enrol in any university of their choosing.
CS Machogu indicated that 173,127 individuals with a minimum admission grade of C+ would enrol for degree courses out of the total as mentioned above.
Those with a C grade or lower will be accepted into all Technical and Vocational Education Training Institutions (TVET) nationwide.

The Education CS said that all schools have already completed the requirements for enrolling students and have published course costs for various study programs on their websites.
Following selection, students can apply for government scholarships from the University fund, as instructed by President William Ruto's new funding model.
However, the government grant will only be available to students attending public colleges, not those attending private universities.
Students will be instructed by their various universities on applying for scholarships and loans through the funding model.
Machogu further stated that the government would cover the entire cost of school for at least 45,000 pupils from low-income and disadvantaged families.
Students will be classified into three degrees of need under the funding model: vulnerable, less vulnerable, and able. Students from lower-income families will earn up to 53% scholarships and up to 40% loans.
At the same time, capable students will be subsidized up to 38% of the program's cost, with loans covering the remaining 55%.
Those who enrol in TVETs will be sponsored by 32% for government scholarships and 48% for government loans.
CS Machogu indicated that he had directed KUCCPS to collaborate with the Huduma secretariat to allow students to apply from any Huduma Centre across the country and to assist students in their applications.
According to Machogu, the application process should be concluded in August so students can report to their chosen colleges in September.
