Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) has re-appointed Nicanor Sabula as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after exiting the association in 2020.
Sabula, who previously served as CEO from 2015 to 2019, takes over from Agnes Mucuha.
His extensive experience leading domestic and foreign trade associations will be crucial in achieving KATA's lofty strategic goals, including growing the organization's membership base nationwide and improving the benefits offered to members.
Along with strengthening the association's advocacy function, his leadership will contribute to the development of a stable financial base
“We are excited to welcome Nicanor back as our new CEO. He is the right fit for our organization, especially at this time when the travel industry is experiencing rapid growth post the COVID pandemic,” stated Joseph Kithitu, KATA Chairman.
