Kenya Airways (KQ) has signed a code-share agreement with Vietnam Airlines, paving the way for customers of each airline to book through each other’s platforms.
This comes after KQ resumed direct flights between Nairobi and Bangkok in Thailand and vice versa in November last year.
“The codeshare partnership between Kenya Airways and Vietnam Airlines will allow customers to enjoy flexibility and choice with smooth connections via Bangkok and Nairobi to points such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Kisumu, Entebbe, Kigali, and Mombasa, among others perfect for leisure and business travelers or those visiting family or friends,” said KQ in a statement.
Through the partnership, travelers can buy single-ticket itineraries on Kenya Airways’ flights for their entire trip and take advantage of hassle-free flight benefits, including the airline’s baggage allowance and convenient bag check-through to the final destination.
Codeshare flights are where airlines agree to sell each other seats independently.
