The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has revoked Promed Healthcare Administration Limited’s operating license effective May 6, 2024.
In a notice, IRA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Godfrey Kiptum noted that the facility’s license was canceled per Section 196 of the Insurance Act, which provides for the cancellation of registration of medical facilities for failure to comply with the Authority’s regulations.
“Pursuant to Section 196 A of the Insurance Act, the medical provider whose named appears below: Promed Healthcare Administration Limited has ceased transacting insurance business with effect from May 6 2024.”
ProMedi is a cross-functional management software used by large, medium, and small hospitals.
The platform offers an outpatient management system and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
