The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) has appointed Tobias Alando as the acting Chief Executive Officer(CEO) replacing Anthony Mwangi, who has stepped down.
Alando was serving as KAM’s Chief Operating Officer until his appointment.
KAM Board Chair Jane Karuku announced that the association will initiate a search for a substantive office holder.
“On behalf of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers’ Board of Directors, I would like to announce that Mr. Anthony Mwangi, who has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the last 2 years, has stepped down.”
Alando will be tasked to develop annual work plans and advocating on key issues affecting the manufacturing sector, among others.
