The Communication Authority of Kenya (CA) has appointed Christopher Wambua to serve as the Director General in an acting capacity.
This follows the suspension of Ezra Chiloba as its Director General, according to an internal letter to staff.
“Following a meeting of the Authority’s Board held on 18th September 2023, resulting in the suspension of the Director General, I am pleased to inform all staff of the appointment of Mr. Christopher Wambua as Director General in acting capacity effective today until further notice,” read part of the letter.
“I trust that you will accord him necessary support.”
Chiloba was appointed to the CA post in 2021, replacing the late Francis Wangusi.
