Trade and Investments Cabinet Secretary(CS) Moses Kuria introduced the sixth industrial park in the country under the national-county government partnership.

The latest park in Mombasa County is expected to create 20,000 employment opportunities.

During the launch, the CS said the initiative will add value to the resident's produce, thus increasing the producers' income.


Further, he said that the government was open to private investments and invited local and international investors to seize the opportunity and inject funds into the new venture.

Both national and county governments have injected Kes .250 million each.

On his part, Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir urged the residents to embrace the initiative that would enhance productivity.
