Uber Eats has expanded to Eldoret and Naivasha, allowing locals to order food and groceries online and deliver them to their doorsteps.
The expansion will create business opportunities for restaurants, merchants, and delivery people.
Uber Eats Kenya General Manager Kui Mbugua says the platform’s total nationwide city presence has grown to five in Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa, Naivasha, and Eldoret.
“We have also rolled out operational updates in Nakuru and Mombasa as we continue with our vision to become people’s everyday choice for instant access to local commerce, offering delivery on everything from restaurant meals, grocery to pharmacy and retail,” he said.
E-commerce services are becoming increasingly popular, opening new markets for companies like Uber and Bolt.

The Uber Eats app now provides other services like convenience, pharmacy, wellness, and daily necessities.
This was done due to internal research showing that customers want various options outside of typical restaurants.
“Through Uber Eats, we seek to enhance the overall delivery experience and contribute to the local economy by supporting restaurants and retailers in these cities,” Mbugua added.
