The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams for candidates in grades six and eight will start today.
Exam supervisors and representatives from the Education Ministry showed up at exam collection locations this morning, marking the official start of the nationwide exercise.
On Monday morning, President Ruto will supervise the drill in Kikuyu, Kiambu County.
To supervise the distribution of exam materials, additional leaders will also make visits to different testing locations.
