When the tear gas was fired, the students were inside their classrooms. Although no casualties have been reported as of yet, most of them are said to have passed out after being overcome by the teargas vapours.
One of the locals said that police officials separating those who had gathered for the Azimio protests earlier today allegedly threw the teargas canister inside the classroom.
