Gene Deal, a former bodyguard for Diddy, has made shocking allegations following Diddy's recent arrest. In an interview on *The Art of Dialogue* on October 4, Deal claimed that Usher, one of Diddy's protégés in the 1990s, was sexually assaulted by the music mogul. Deal further alleged that the assault left Usher in such poor condition that he required hospitalization.
Although Deal admitted he was not present during the alleged incident, he claimed to have heard about it from unnamed music executives. "I wasn’t there when it happened," Deal said. "I heard it from some music executives, but I’m not going to mention their names. They might choose to speak on it themselves."
At the time, Deal said he didn’t know who Usher was, as the singer was still early in his career. He recalled being told, "'Puff sent this little kid to the hospital. The guy was bleeding from the butt.' That’s what they told me."
Deal explained that he decided to come forward with the story after recent allegations against Diddy surfaced. "Now kids are speaking up," Deal said. "They’re saying Diddy did this… It’s crazy." However, Deal stressed that he had no direct evidence to confirm whether the alleged assault on Usher actually happened. "It’s just something I heard," he reiterated.

Deal’s claims surfaced around the same time as a series of allegations made by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who announced that more than 3,800 individuals had come forward, accusing Diddy of sexual assault. Buzbee revealed that out of the 120 cases his firm had taken on, one involved a victim who was only nine years old at the time of the alleged assault.
Many of these incidents reportedly occurred during high-profile parties, such as album release events, New Year's Eve celebrations, and what were known as "puppy parties" or "white parties."
Usher has not publicly addressed Gene Deal’s accusations but has previously commented on his "wild" experiences working with Diddy. In an interview with Howard Stern, Usher described his time under Diddy’s mentorship as "curious" and said, "I got a chance to see some things… It was crazy."
