Moses Kuria, the new minister for Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management, officially handed over the Investments, Trade, and Industry ministry to Rebecca Miano, the current CS, to the docket.
CS Kuria voiced his trust in his successor's ability to continue achieving the ministry's objectives during the handover meeting on Wednesday.
He also said he was pleased with the work he had done for the Trade Ministry during the previous 11 months.
"Government endures forever. A comma, a pause, or a full stop are never used. I AM THRILLED WITH MY WORK since I took over from Betty Maina 11 months ago, said Kuria.

"We were moving to ensure there are industries in all corners of the country. It is my hope and desire that the new team will take it forward."
On her part, CS Miano affirmed that she will work to serve in her new docket to the best of her abilities and execute her mandate up to scratch.
"There is nothing new with transitions. I took an oath of office to serve Kenyans as a CS," she said.
"We relocated to ensure that industries are in every region of the nation. I sincerely hope and wish that the new team will continue it.
CS Miano reaffirmed her commitment to serving in her new docket to the best of her ability and carrying out her mission correctly.
Transitions are nothing new, says the speaker. As a CS, I swore to serve Kenyans, she remarked.

"I told President Ruto that this is one of the best things he has ever done for me and I am quite excited. Mbele iko sawa," he said.
"My aim is to reengineer this ministry to be a very key employer in various sectors and so we will work together with everybody to see how we will create jobs for our young men and women."
Malonza, who succeeds CS Miano, assured Mutua that he would have a smooth transition into his new role because she had done a significant amount of groundwork to improve the tourism sector.
"So far we had quite a lot of achievements within that short period. You will be taken through the plan that we had."
The latter comes a week after President William Ruto reorganized his government, merging and renaming several ministries in the process.
President Ruto made the change to incorporate the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, led by Musalia Mudavadi, in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.
An entirely new docket was awarded to Aisha Jumwa for the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Arts, and Heritage.
Zachariah Njeru was replaced by Alice Wahome at the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development; he is currently in charge of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation.
