Airtel Money customers withdrawing between Kes 50,000 and Kes 250,000 will now pay Kes 300 to withdraw at Airtel Money agents.
This is after Airtel Money increased the withdrawal charge for higher amounts, effective October 25.
Previously, those withdrawals between Kes 70,001 and 250,000 were deducted from Kes 270.
However, charges on withdrawals on amounts between Kes 1 and Kes 49 will be free of charge for all clients.
“We have reviewed our Airtel Money transaction fees to enable our customers to continue enjoying affordable prices while transacting through their mobile money wallets.” Said Airtel Money Kenya MD Anne Kinuthia-Otieno.
