The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations have officially commenced on Monday morning.
Ministry of Education officials arrived at various exam collection centers early this morning to oversee the distribution of exam materials.
Basic Education Principal Secretary (PS) Belio Kipsang led the distribution exercise at the Westlands DCC center.
On the other hand, Teachers Service Commission (CEO) Nancy Macharia oversaw the exam distribution at the Mvita center in Mombasa County.
Addressing the media, Kipsanga has urged parents and Education stakeholders to focus on value addition to students across the country.

“Whatever results that our children will get is from the input of our teams in schools,” Kipsang said.
The 2023 KCSE candidates will conclude their examinations on November 24, 2023.
