A massive midnight fire in Kiptagich, Nakuru County, has destroyed properties worth millions, leaving owners devastated.
The fire, believed to have started in a chips fryer at a hotel in Kiptagich Centre, destroyed 12 commercial buildings. The fire happened following the nationwide power outage that occurred last evening.
Speaking in Kiptagich center on Sunday, local chief Wycliff Too said the fire would likely start at Chips Point Hotel and quickly spread to four other buildings, including a butchery.
