Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang'o has been granted release on a Ksh.2 million bond, with the option of a similar surety or Ksh.500,000 in cash just hours after being arrested.

This comes after she pleaded not guilty to four charges in a Mombasa Court on Tuesday, November 5, when she was among 11 people charged with conspiracy to defraud, operating an unlicensed Sacco, forgery, and uttering fake documents.
