So far, the Kenya Red Cross has airlifted 87 tonnes of food to flood-affected households, with 39,000 individuals benefiting from sanitation and hygiene services.
The Modogashe-Habaswein road has been totally restored, while the Kitui-Mutomo and Madogo routes are being renovated.
The Kenya Red Cross, on the other hand, has warned vehicles on the Isiolo Moyale road to use caution, especially when it rains.
