Justice Alfred Mabeya is scheduled to rule on who owns the Ksh.400 million Techfirm - Stay Online Limited as Kenyan Rwandan investors fight for ownership.
In this case, Rwandese investor Desire Muhinyuza and Kenyan billionaire Kirimi Koome are vying for control of the company.
Both parties in the dispute testified before Justice Mabeya, claiming firm ownership.
Muhinyuza testified in court on Thursday, December 21, about how he trusted Koome and decided to invest his business with him.
He testified that he couldn't register the corporation in Kenya at the time because he lacked the necessary documents, so he relied on Koome, whom he claims misled him subsequently.
On cross-examination, Koome, who also claims to be the company's owner, stated that while the money for the business originated from Rwanda, Stay Online Limited was his company since he registered it.
During the hearing, former DCI officer Daniel Guru testified before the court that he examined a signature specimen submitted by Koome Kirimi's counsel using a stereo microscope nexus zoom 190.
However, Danstan Omari, Muhinyuza's lawyer, pressed him to explain why he utilized the machine when he knew it was a video spectrum comparison 6000.
