Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has gifted Jesus Church Ministry (JCM) church worshippers in Ruiru with Kes 1 million Christmas gift through a phone call.
This is after JCM Rev Ben Muthee Kiengei Watoria put the former president on Speaker saying that he had been informed that the church was holding a Christmas party which he immediately pledged to support.
“Your pastor has called me and has informed me that you had a Christmas event that was meant for the people who are not able to support themselves during this Christmas period,” Uhuru said.
The retired president promised that he was not going to neglect his people and promised that he would send Kes 1 million to the church.
“I told him that I cannot leave my people and assured him that I will give him whatever I have. I told him that I will give him one million so that you are able to buy flour,” he said.
