47 Ethiopian nationals have been arrested in Makindu, Makueni county, for illegally entering the country.
The foreigners have no documents, according to Makindu police chief Jashon Poloh, and will be questioned to determine their mission.
The immigrants were apprehended inside a truck in the town on the Mombasa-Nairobi route.
