The Cabinet Secretary for Education, Ezekiel Machogu, will announce Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results today at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret.

This is after CS Machogu, alongside other education ministry officials, briefed President William Ruto on the results at the Eldoret State Lodge on Monday morning.

In December, Machogu confirmed that the 903,260 candidates who completed exams in 2023 will know their fate in the second week of January 2024.

The results of the 2023 KCSE are noteworthy because they coincide with the implementation of a new grading system intended to boost university admissions.

If the findings are made public on Monday in Moi Girls, it will be the first time the ministry has done so outside of Nairobi's Mtihani House.
