One thousand pupils who Excelled in KCPE will benefit from equity prestigious Wings to fly scholarships.
Pupils from around the country gathered Sunday at Pangani Girls High School in Nairobi for the 2024 cohort's ceremonial commissioning.
Before the ceremonial commissioning, 1000 beneficiaries nationwide converged on Pangani Girls High School for a three-day orientation and training program.

With the inauguration of the 15th cohort of the Wings to Fly project, Equity Group Foundation has given a total of 60,009 comprehensive secondary school scholarships.
Audrey Kijulu, 14, of Voi, is a happy recipient of the program, and despite his diminutive stature, his tiny shoulders hold the weight of his family's and community's ambitions.
Kijulu, who received 354 points, is excited to start at Matiliku Boys High School, where his future is already bright.
Equity Group Foundation Executive Chairman Dr. James Mwangi spoke at the commissioning and encouraged the students to take full advantage of the scholarship and mentorship scheme.
Wings to Fly would provide a comprehensive mentorship program, a back-to-school basket, emotional support, and on-campus medical care, in addition to covering the entire cost of tuition for four years, he said.
“This programme is about giving you a chance to change your life. Everything you have spoken about as a challenge, we are living it behind. Wings to fly and equity group foundation has chosen to adopt you,” Mwangi told the scholars.
The commission also included scholars from the Equity Leaders initiative who will be attending global institutions.
“Throughout he program I got accepted into Princeton university, I will join in August this year. I will always wanted to work at a top the university. I feel like so many doors have been opened to me,” Meshack Oloo, beneficiary said.
