The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has launched a probe after National Police Service reservists (NPS) were accused of fatally shooting two men.
According to IPOA chairperson Anne Makori, the shooting occurred on Monday, January 8, at a farmer's cooperative organization in Endebess Constituency, Trans Nzoia County.
"It is alleged that several others were also injured in the shooting incident," Makori said.

Meanwhile, an investigation team from IPOA's Eldoret office has been deployed to commence investigations into the deaths.
He added that the authority will make suitable recommendations upon completing investigations and will hold any persons involved in the incident, including the said reservists, culpable.
