Police have apprehended multiple employees of Njiwa Sacco for purportedly embezzling Ksh 160 Million from the National Intelligence Service.

According to a report from a credible source, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations uncovered the alleged actions of the 9 suspects, leading to their arrest.

Multiple sources have verified that Amos Kipchumba, identified as the Sacco's auditor among others, is among the suspects involved.

In a separate development, Honorable Raila Odinga, the former prime minister of Kenya and the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, has stated that the Kenya Kwanza government under President William Ruto should refrain from discussing the fight against corruption in Kenya.

Commenting on the incident, the former prime minister of Kenya remarked that the government led by President William Ruto would struggle to combat corruption, emphasizing that the President is surrounded by corrupt individuals.

Raila Odinga also refuted allegations made by President William Ruto and Deputy President Honorable Rigathi Gachagua that he is orchestrating anti-government demonstrations with the aim of power-sharing with President William Ruto.
