Lawyer Ahmednassir took to social media to express his perspective on a case he was to present, revealing that he was on the verge of presenting the case involving former President Moi, who faced accusations of purportedly acquiring land belonging to a woman, 93, identified as Cherubet Chelugui.
'' My oldest client, Mama Cherubet Chelugui (93 years old and strong) who is a wheelchair, was airlifted from Eldoret to meet me in Nairobi. She won damages for Kshs 1 billion plus against H.E. Daniel Arap Moi in the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Moi grabbed her land in the 1980s. We are now in the Supreme against his estate. It's acting for "Davids" like Mama Cherubet that gives purpose to practising law.'' Ahmednassir.
I was supposed to argue this petition before the Supreme Court this morning. Mama Cherubet Chelugui turned 94 and is admitted to ICU...over to you, @CJMarthaKoome. I hope you will hear and determine the case before the health of Mama Chelugui deteriorates further! https://t.co/qzCwrzQNjY

The prominent Kenyan lawyer Ahmednassir remains in protest mode after facing a ban from participating in proceedings before the Supreme Court, purportedly due to accusations of criticizing judges and magistrates.
As reported by a trustworthy source, the lawyer and his firm received a prohibition from appearing before the Supreme Court, prompting a wave of concern among Kenyans. Many have taken to various social media platforms, urging Chief Justice Martha Koome to provide clarification on the circumstances leading to this decision.
For example, the ex-President of the Law Society of Kenya, Mr. Havi, asserted that the High Court would overturn this case, emphasizing that Chief Justice Martha Koome's ruling is deemed unlawful.
