Three more suspects were arraigned in court in connection to the brutal murder of Meru blogger Daniel Muthiani, aka 'Sniper.'
Christus Manyara Kiambi Alias Chris, Brian Mwenda Alias Brayo, and Bonface Kithinji Njiiyia Alias Dj Kaboom were charged with murder under Sections 203 and 204 of the Penal Code (Cap. 63).
Their arraignment followed a psychiatric evaluation that showed they could all stand trial. This arraignment raises the number of people charged with Sniper's murder to five.

Last Monday, two accused, Vincent Muriithi Kirimi, alias Supuu, and Kenneth Murangiri Guantai, alias Tali, were charged with murder in Kiambu.
The sniper vanished on December 2, 2023, and his body was found two weeks later.
A post-mortem examination was conducted on the body of the deceased at Marimanti Level 4.
The hospital mortuary in Tharaka Nithi, Meru County, indicated that he died from strangling. He also had cracked ribs and visible injuries.
According to government pathologist Johansen Oduor, who conducted the examination, Sniper had marks on his neck and showed evidence of having been deprived of air.
