Renowned entrepreneur and artist Akothee revealed shocking information that has raised major fears about her safety stating that she believes her life is in danger in Migori County.
Akothee shared a distressing experience involving the Migori County Chief Finance Office, where she claims to have faced a deliberate intimidation strategy orchestrated by unidentified individuals. Recounting the incident, she described being confronted by thugs while at the office, stating, "My life is in imminent danger in Migori County. This was completely unexpected."
In her narrative, Akothee explained that the assailants had strategically positioned themselves, anticipating her exit through the main door. Despite the threat, she managed to outsmart them by utilizing an alternative exit. Unfazed, the attackers persisted in their pursuit, attempting to block her escape at the gate.

"If Migori politicians want to kill me, don't use goons to pass your information, just shoot me," Akothee expressed in her alarming post.
Adding to the complexity of the situation, Akothee asserted that county reinforcements appeared on the scene, but rather than intervening, they allegedly engaged in camaraderie with the assailants. This insinuates a troubling degree of complicity, raising concerns about the involvement of local authorities in the incident.
"The county reinforcement came, laughed with them, and left them there, saying they will show me dust in Migori. We then drove directly to the police station, recorded statements, then escorted out of Migori," she explained.
As a consequence of the incident, Akothee was compelled to cancel her intentions to enroll Form One students in schools.
“Unfortunately, I will not be able to admit the Form One students to school today, a terrible consequence of the events that have taken place. the situation is escalating and the tension is palpable,” she concluded.
Akothee has pledged to share more comprehensive information about the incident. In November 2023, she alluded to encountering challenges with a prominent politician in Migori, sparking speculation regarding her potential candidacy for the Woman Representative seat in the 2027 elections.
