Peter Gitaa Koria, Bomas of Kenya's general manager and CEO, is contesting his suspension. The State has been granted one final chance to submit its responses.
As a result of ongoing investigations into their conduct, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) recommended that CEOs of State agencies, including Koria, be suspended for 12 months.
EACC, Public Service Commission, Chief of Staff, Head of Public Service, Office of the President, and Chairperson Board Bomas of Kenya are among the parties involved in this matter as respondents. The Attorney General is also required to file their responses in this regard.

Through lawyer Danstan Omari, the court was told that the embattled CEO's suspension was "marred with illegalities and procedural irregularities," further calling for stopping the said special board meeting.
"...unless this Honorable Court moves with celerity and arrests the illegalities and injustices occasioned by the Respondents, the Applicant (Mr. Koria) shall suffer irreparable harm as their right to equality before the law, fair administrative action and labour rights will be curtailed," he argues.
According to reports, the EACC is investigating Mr. Koria for allegedly buying supplies irregularly at the Kenyan Bomas.
