The Office of the Attorney General (AG) has appointed Waigi Kamau to sit on the Board of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
In a letter, AG Justin Muturi shared the new appointees with the Cabinet Secretary of National Treasury and Economic Planning, Njuguna Ndung’u, and KRA Commissioner General Humphrey Wattanga, among other government officials.
“Pursuant to Section 6 (d) of-the Kenya Revenue Authofity At (No. 2 of 1995). The Honourable the Attorney General hereby nominates Mr. Waigi Kamau, Chief State Counsel of (Tel. 0722 230 586/and email [email protected]) as his designated representative to Board of the Kenya Revenue Authority in place of Ms. Jennifer Gitiri,” he said.
He replaces Jennifer Gatiri, who serves at the Assets Recovery Agency as the Deputy Director of Legal Services and Corporation Secretary.
Likewise, Kamau advocates for the High Court of Kenya with over 22 years of post-admission experience.
