Following the widespread circulation of a controversial online video, Bishop Johanna is under scrutiny and facing allegations of deviating from spiritual topics to participate in inappropriate discussions regarding women's undergarments.
Sharing her dismay, Alice Ng'ang'a commented, "While genuine Christians strive for spiritual growth and seek the Kingdom of Heaven, it is disheartening to see Bishop Johanna deviate into inappropriate discussions about women's undergarments. Such behavior is unacceptable and calls for reflection. Huyu kwake kwema ni Kamiti."
Ng'ang'a expressed a feeling of betrayal on behalf of the Christian community, stressing the anticipation for spiritual leaders to prioritize matters of faith rather than participating in discussions deemed inappropriate.
The Bishop, who asserted to be praying for an evil spirit to leave a woman, was captured on camera inappropriately touching her in areas considered untouchable. Subsequently, the woman is later seen claiming to have received a miracle following the controversial prayer from the self-proclaimed Bishop Johanna.

This is what the bishop said defending the act
Addressing accusations from Kenyans who claimed he behaved inappropriately towards a female congregant, the Bishop spoke to Kuria TV. He explained that the woman, named Wanjiru, had journeyed from Nairobi seeking his divine intervention for numerous marital issues. The incident occurred on a Friday.
"Her husband had deserted her, leaving her behind with three children. He dumped her for another woman. He comes home to see her during the day, then leaves at night."
The female congregant found his number and called him.
"When she came I saw she was troubled. I told her the name of the woman her husband had left her for. She is called Carol. She asked me what to do.
So when you saw me on the video, I was doing deliverance. I was casting out evil spirits from the woman and they spoke to me and told me they are from Carol, and Carol had gone to Uganda for witchcraft to attract married men."
He explained that he was able to help the woman heal from her problems by rubbing her body as was seen in the video
"What I know is that it works. I do a lot of deliverance to my followers, You do not do deliverance for someone with stomach problems by applying oil on the head.
You have to apply the anointing oil where the pain is, not on the face for example. That woman told me her problem was in the stomach area, and that's why I was rubbing oil on her stomach. I had no bad intentions," he stated.
