Students at a school in Busia County, have been left stranded after strong winds blew off the roof of their classroom.
Strong winds wreaked havoc on Kamunyele Primary School, which had 42 students in session.
"The incident sent shivers down their spines as they tried to scamper for safety," stated one witness.
Victor Ekisa, the head teacher, stated that no one was wounded because the situation was contained.

"The roofs were sent high and given the emergency, we stopped pupils from leaving the classroom to avert any injuries," Ekisa said.
He requested assistance with repairs to the institution, which can accommodate 250 students.
"We have long begged for assistance in building new classrooms for our students. It is past time that this was done to avoid such situations," he continued.
