A 25-year-old man sustained fractured bones after jumping from the fourth-floor apartment while visiting a female friend in Embu Town.
The young man, who police have identified as Daniel Mwinzi, is said to have been visiting a female friend when the event occurred.
Kamiu location Chief Sammy Njagi confirmed the occurrence, stating that he received a call at 6 a.m. from a renter living in the flat notifying him that someone had jumped from the building.

“I visited the scene and found the man, whose name I was able to establish, writhing in pain and holding his left arm. He had apparently sustained a fracture,” said the Chief.
According to accounts, the man may have attempted to flee the woman's home.
The man is said to have climbed the stairs to the balcony before jumping in haste.
"The man was with a woman he had spent the previous night partying at a local nightclub. "It is unclear why he jumped," the Chief stated.
Embu police arrived at the scene shortly after and sent the injured man to the Embu Level Five hospital, where he is currently recovering.
Police have since interrogated the woman who claimed to own the house.
