Public Sector CS Plans to incorporate intern physicians into the public health system as junior physicians have been made public by Moses Kuria.
Even as he urged doctors to return to work in the wake of the Labour and Employment court ruling that halted the countrywide strike, the CS said the action would address the industry's continued difficulties.
The announcement came after a meeting called by Felix Koskei, the head of public service, on Thursday night.

- The Public Service Commission (PSC).
- The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).

Kuria urged the medical professionals to engage in dialogue, arguing that since they are demanding higher pay, it is not appropriate for them to stop offering emergency care at public hospitals.
The CS gave a speech on Friday while visiting the NYS-VTC Mashinani program at Kiobwoge Vocational Training Centre in Nyamira County.
Along with him were several local officials, including County Commissioner Erastus Mbui, West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka, and Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo.
Kuria stated that the VTCs will be modernized and outfitted to provide courses up to the diploma level due to the collaboration between the county and federal governments via the NYS.
The NYS instructors will also help the rebranded NYS-VTC Mashinani.
The CS stated that the Ministry of Education will integrate and harmonize the curricula of VTCs, NYS, and TVETS.
