According to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, the government and counties collaborate closely to transfer the remaining resources and functions seamlessly.
Speaking on Friday at the official residence in Karen, Gachagua said that devolution had changed the nation and needed to be preserved and fostered. He was meeting with the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC).
"We are dedicated to devolution's success because it has significantly changed our nation. Devolution has allowed our people at the grassroots to receive better services than they did previously, the Deputy President stated.
According to Gachagua, to ensure the success of devolution, the government will keep interacting with all parties involved in it as a consultative administration.
