Following a significant downpour in Nairobi on Sunday night, three confirmed deaths and one missing police officer have been reported.
Minutes after saving three traders and a child at the Country Bus Station, reports state that the raging floodwaters carried the officer away.
The officer's AK-47 was carried away when he was swept away.
A search and rescue operation is still ongoing along the Nairobi River.

Meanwhile, a spot check by the media revealed that some classrooms were submerged and that some residents of Mukuru kwa Njenga had to stay up all night as their houses flooded due to the heavy downpour, which disrupted livelihoods and education.
