A bus accident in South Africa's northern province of Limpopo killed 45 people and injured one seriously.
According to a statement released by the transport department, the driver lost control and slammed with obstacles on a bridge near Mamatlakala, causing the bus to fall over the bridge and crash into the ground, catching fire.
According to the report, the bus transported Easter pilgrims from Botswana, a landlocked Southern African country, to Moria, a Limpopo town.

According to a statement from his office, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa expressed condolences to Botswana and vowed to help those affected.
According to a separate statement from Limpopo's Department of Transport, only one 8-year-old child survived the incident and is being treated at a nearby hospital.
The provincial department stated that several victims were charred beyond recognition, while others were trapped inside the wreckage or strewn around the site.
