The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has announced new appointments ahead of the grassroots elections in all counties
The electronic election, believed to be free and fair, will occur in all counties across the country in four phases: 26 April, 22 June, 10 August, and 24 August.
In a statement published by UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malalah, the National Steering Committee (NSC), presided over by President Willian Ruto on Tuesday, nominated Anthony Mwaura as Chairperson of the National Elections Board and Veronica Kiberenge as Vice Chairperson.

It appointed five board members, including Lydia Munika, Jimmy Kaingi, Mary Mutinga, Halake Dida, and Linda Kiome.
Joy Mdivo was named Chairperson of the Electoral Disputes Resolution Committee (EDRC), with Dr. Adrian Kamotho as Vice-Chairperson.
The party named seven members to the committee, including Hellen Makone, Yvonne Cherop Kae, Dr. Duncan Ojwang, Dr. Kaberia Isaac, Barbra Japan, Anjichi Joseph, and Ziporah Karimi Muiruri.
Rebecca Tonkeias was also appointed chair of the Internal Dispute Resolution Committee (IDRC).
The other six committee members are Hon. Hassan Omar, Dr. Joshua On'gera, Leah Manyarkiy, Hon. Samuel Kariuki, Bishop Robert Theuri, and Ronald Shako.
