Major General John Omenda, the Commander of the Kenya Air Force (KAF), solemnly led a Requiem Mass to pay tribute to six fallen KAF personnel who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash, alongside Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Francis Ogolla, in Sindar, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The Requiem Mass served as a poignant tribute to the lives and service of the departed individuals, honoring their bravery, dedication, and sacrifice. Family members, colleagues, and dignitaries assembled to bid farewell to Colonel Kipyegon Keitany, Major George Magondu, Captain Hillary Litali, Senior Sergeant John Muriithi, Sergeant Cliphonce Omondi, and Sergeant Rose Nyawira.
