Families that lost loved ones in a boat capsize in Tana River County's Kona Punda area on Sunday evening experienced grief, sorrow, and a sense of emptiness.
The identities of those who remain missing were discovered by recovering bags and personal belongings.
While more bodies are still being sought, four bodies have already been pulled from the violent waters.
The family of Ibrahim Mohamed Bathi is grieving while also feeling grateful. His family identified Ibrahim's body, and he is one of the four confirmed dead.

According to a report at the Madogo police station, 23 people were rescued from the incident, while 15 remain unaccounted for.
Garissan and Tana River leaders now claim that the catastrophe was caused by greed.
"One particular person is to be blamed; he was not licensed, and he brought some two boats from Lamu, without any regard for their safety, overloading people. It is very unfortunate, no life jackets, no trained personnel," said Garissa Governor Nadhif Jama.
Only essential personnel are permitted to move since the incident.
Even though it has been more than 24 hours since the missing people went missing, their families are holding out hope.
