The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has canceled the permits of 64 Public Transport Operators (PTOs) operating on various routes nationwide.

In a statement made on Thursday, NTSA Director General George Njao requested passengers to avoid the aforementioned Saccos, adding that police personnel have also been told to take their cars if they are still in operation.

Some of the 64 Saccos are: 

Eldora Travellers Ltd, Nego International Ltd, Manama Travellers Ltd, Migori Town Matatu Sacco Ltd, Drips Shuttle Ltd, Famwena Ankuma, Tujenge Pamoja Company Ltd, Methana Shuttle Ltd, Tiwamba Dricon Sacco Ltd
