The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has closed a section of the Nairobi-bound lanes along the Kenol-Sagana road.
In a public notice, KeNHA says the closure follows the ongoing heavy rains.
“The heavy rains led to debris falling from the back slope section of the road at Mugetho area.”
The Authority has directed motorists to use the Sagana bound traffic and follow guidelines from the marshals.
“Motorists are urged to adhere to instructions provided by traffic marshals at the location as the Authority works to restore the normal traffic flow.”
