Jeff Mwathi's mother, Anita Mwathi, continues to display her affection for her late son even in his passing, as depicted in a TikTok video. The touching moment captures Anita tenderly washing Jeff's elegant marble grave, which is adorned with a bible-shaped headstone featuring a verse, his photograph, and a cross. In the video, Anita, radiant as always, meticulously cleanses the grave with soap and water, joined by another woman.
After completing the task, Anita tenderly lay on the grave and serenaded her son with a sweet melody. In a departure from previous occasions marked by sorrow and tears, she was seen smiling this time. Recently, Jeff Mwathi's mother expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in the death inquest of her son, following a court adjournment of the matter.
Anne Mwathi, prepared to give her testimony, voiced her frustration at experiencing double pain. Having traveled from Qatar, she expressed her disappointment at not being able to testify. However, her testimony couldn't proceed as her lawyer, Danstan Omari, was absent, reportedly still in Mombasa. Milimani principal magistrate Zainab Abdul reminded her of this fact and advised her to communicate her dissatisfaction to her advocate.
