The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) announced three lions were spotted near Langata Women’s Prison in Nairobi on Wednesday evening.

As a result, the Service has warned residents to remain vigilant following reports of three lions allegedly spotted nearby.

Responding swiftly, the KWS Problem Animal Control team has launched a search operation. Despite their ongoing efforts, the lions have not been located yet.

“KWS continues to monitor the situation closely and remains on high alert. Ensuring the safety of the public is our top priority,” KWS said.

As the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) intensifies its search for the three lions, it is crucial for the public to play their part.
