Two women have been arrested after being found in possession of narcotics drugs in Kisauni, Utange.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said the two suspects, Amina Musa Chirunga and Saumu Ali Khamis, were apprehended with cocaine sachets valued at Ksh.495,000.

Two women suspected of trafficking narcotics in the coastal city of Mombasa were today nabbed with sachets of cocaine in an operation mounted by Anti-Narcotics Unit officers in Kisauni, Utange area.

"Acting on a tip-off, police cordoned the house of the two suspects, Amina Musa Chirunga and Saumu Ali Khamis, where upon search the nose candy estimated at a street value of Ksh.495,000 was discovered," said the DCI.
The two women will appear in court on the 27th of May.
