Two suspected robbers narrowly escaped death after angry residents descended on them for allegedly trying to break into the car of a man they had been tailing from a bank.
Locals revealed that the two suspects had surreptitiously followed a businessman who had purportedly taken money from a bank in Thika down to Kitengela to rob him.
