Four people have died after a bus and a tuk-tuk collided head-on at Makongeni on the Thika-Garissa route.
The tragedy happened on Thursday afternoon when a speeding bus slammed the tuk-tuk, killing the driver and three passengers instantaneously.
Eyewitnesses described the sight as terrible, with the tuk-tuk debris scattered over the road.

The corpses of the dead were brought to General Kago Funeral Home for identification and post-mortem tests.
Local neighbors have voiced great worry about the growing incidence of accidents on that specific stretch of road.
They blame fast automobiles for the spike in accidents and demand quick government involvement.
"We need speed bumps installed urgently to slow down traffic and prevent further tragedies," said Samson Njau, a resident of Makongeni.
The people heartily support the need for speed bumps and enhanced road safety awareness, and they hope that meaningful action will be implemented soon.
