A Petroleum Gas (LPG) truck burst has exploded in the Pipeline area of Embakasi, Nairobi County, leaving several people injured.
According to reports, one bystander was injured in the Monday lunchtime explosion and has been taken to the hospital.
Firefighters arrived on time and managed to extinguish the fire.
Images showed an Embasavva 14-seater matatu and the tanker, which had been charred to bare metal.
"The matatu did not have any passengers only the driver who was moving the vehicle after being stuck that is when it exploded. Both drivers for the matatu and truck are unharmed," said an eyewitness.
