According to Russian officials, Russian oil storage tanks were set on fire overnight after being targeted by drones, while Ukrainian forces reportedly shot down ten drones fired by Russia.
Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the oil tank attack in Azov, a town in Russia's southern Rostov region. However, Kyiv has previously carried out similar operations and has stated that hitting Russia's energy infrastructure undermines Moscow's military effort.
"According to preliminary data, there are no casualties," Rostov governor Vasily Golubev wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
