Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga is expected to accompany three activists to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters on Monday, amid fears of abductions.
In a statement on Sunday, Mutunga identified the activists as Boniface Mwangi, Hanifa Adan, and Haki Africa executive director Hussein Khalid.
The three activists are scheduled to appear at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road at 11 a.m. on Monday.
"Tomorrow at 11 am I shall accompany Hanifa Adan Hussein Khalid and Boniface Mwangi to DCI_Kenya HQs on Kiambu Road. Mwangi was almost abducted outside the City Mortuary on Friday contrary to Art. 238(2)(b) of the Constitution. Join us in solidarity," he said on X.
