President William Ruto has finally bowed to pressure from youths and scrapped the 2024 finance bill, which has received opposition nationwide.
During his address, the president said that he had listened to the youths and their concerns about the bill and saw it fit to abandon it and sit with stakeholders to develop something that would benefit Kenyans.
The president added that government officials should expect budget cuts as the country tries to live within its means.
